or TH-42PX20) at a retail outlet in August (preferred)or September
2004?  I would prefer national retail outlets like Best Buy or Circuit

If you are talking about the TH-42PX20U/P: In July of 2004 the TV
retailed at $6,500. This would most likely have matched the retail
price around August.
