Hi lillie --
I can understand your frustration. Your question has been sitting
there for almost 3 weeks and nobody has answered it.
There are several reasons why a question might go unanswered for this
amount of time.
1 --- PRICE - As Weisstho pointed out, the price could be an issue.
Researchers weigh the amount of work involved in finding an answer
against the amount of money being offered and decide accordingly
whether or not to work on a question.
2 --- CLARITY - As Googlebrain pointed out, sometimes questions are
not clear, as in the case of your previous question. Researchers need
guidelines as to what EXACTLY you are expecting for your money. A
researcher will not attempt to answer a question unless it is stated
clearly.
3 --- AVAILABILITY OF THE ANSWER -- Some questions are just not
answerable -- no matter what the price or how clear the question is.
You will notice that there are $200 questions that have sat unanswered
for weeks. This is because researchers have been unable to find those
answers. (We're good, but we're not miracle workers! :-) )
SUGGESTION ----
Heres what I would suggest you do. Go back to your previous question:
https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=50440
and ---
CLARIFY -- Explain exactly what you want a researcher to provide to
you, with the understanding that WE are not appraisers. Nobody here
will valuate it for you. All we can do is provide information we find
online. You've described your item, but what do you want? Are you
looking for a current value that an insurance adjuster would accept?
Would you accept a list of appraisers or dealers local to you who
could look at it? Do you want to know a fair-market price you might
be able to sell it for on Ebay? Would you be happy with the "going
rate" for similar products? Be specific.
RECONSIDER THE PRICE -- The price you set will ALWAYS be up to you.
No researcher is going to suggest a price because that would lead to
messy bidding wars and defeat the purpose of the system that Google
has set up here. Think about how long it might take to find the
information you are requesting and then decide what you would consider
to be a reasonable rate for that amount of time. You can reset the
price as many times as you like before the question is answered.
Note that when you take either of the above actions, your previous
question will rise to the top of our "Researcher List of Questions
Needing an Answer" and will be noticed immediately by researchers
browsing the list.
Finally, there is no guarantee anyone will find anything for you. My
suggestions are only given to increase your chances of success.
I hope this has helped you understand the system here and make better
use of Google-Answers. We really DO want to answer your question. Help
us make that happen! :-)

Oh, and if you have any difficulty navigating the system to make
changes to your previous question, there is no need to post a question
and pay for someone to help you. The instructions here:
