Question ID: 570539
How do US Cities compare in terms of size? I'm looking for an
up-to-date list quantifying the market size and population of US
cities.

- Is there an existing standard for this data/measurement used
commonly by the government or media?

- How has this list changed recentley? Is there a version from 5 years
back, 10 years back that could provide a reference for trend (cities
getting bigger, smaller)?

- This has to be a credible source that can be cited in academic
research, and must be sustainable; something that is updated for
future use.

...thanks.
