At our office we have a DSL connection and an 8 port router. We would
like to swap out the router for one that adds wirless networking
capabilities. Essentially what we need is something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000051SGX

Only with the ability to have wirless connections in addition to the
wired connections. It seems like there are a lot of 4 port routers
with wireless on the market as well as a lot of 8 port routers without
wirless but I've been having difficulty finding an 8 port router that
supports wireless.

Ideally I'd like to find something in the $100-$150 range if possible.

If anyone could find something of this nature I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Jon

I know the market space relatively and well and cannot recall seeing
an 8-port wireless router. Keep in mind though you can add wireless
capability to your existing 8-port router by simply purchasing and
configuring a Wireless Access Point. This way you don't have to throw
out perfectly good hardware that is working and you can find one for
less than $100.

Your best bet as helpfulguy-ga points out is to just add an access
point. It plugs into one of the Ethernet port and just does wireless.

I have not seen any combo DSL plus Ethernet plus wireless routers that
include more than four ports.

Cool. So the Wireless Access Point can be added without having to do
anything to reconfigure the router? If so that's the perfect solution
for us. Thanks!!!
