How do I restore items removed from a desktop search? At the conclusion of a desktop search I checked all items, selected "remove items" and the items were removed. When I attempted the same desktop search again with exactly the same criteria the search found no items. The screen notes that items removed will be restored but mine must have been removed permanently. Thank you. |

Hi jack0325, If you're referring to Google Desktop Search, you can use the contact form at the Help Center for this inquiry: http://desktop.google.com/support/bin/request.py I hope that helps. Best regards, Rainbow |

jack... I suspect that removed items will be restored during the ongoing indexing process. How long that takes depends on variables such as the number of files you have to be indexed, and the amount of free time available to the indexing program, since it is only active when you are not actively using the computer. sublime1-ga |
