Many but not all of the names beginning with E in English that are
derived from Hebrew names or words would start with the character
Aleph there. Consequently there are some cognates with names that
begin with A in English.
For girls, a few more suggestions:
Elizabeth is the anglicized form of the Hebrew name Elisheva ("God is
my oath"), both with English spelling variants:

Elisheva (or Elisheba) is mentioned once in the Old Testament, Exodus
6:23, as Aaron's wife (Moses's sister-in-law). In the New Testament
Elizabeth is the mother of John the Baptist and a close relative of
Mary (cf. the birth narratives in Luke 1 & 2).
Eve (or Eva), the anglicized form of Hebrew name Chava, was the first
Woman and Adam's wife, the "mother of all living" (Genesis 3:20):

Elisha ("God is my help/salvation"), mentioned by leopardiamus-ga, was
the prophetic successor to Elijah. It is now a girl's name as well as
a boy's name, possibly because of the similarity in sound to Alicia
(from Old French roots).
