What are the web and postal addresses, membership fees (and for what
period) and membership
size of all of the professional bodies in the uk with more than 20,000
members (e.g. ACCA, RICS, HPC etc)

Answers in some sort of space / tab / comma seperated format please,
or an Excel file.

Hello.  I don't see any ready-made sources of information on fees and
membership size for professional bodies.  And even at the maximu fee
of $200, it would be far too large a task to manually compile such
information.

However, it may be possible to list organizations with their address
and website information -- I imagine a hundred or more listings could
be compiled into an Excel file.

The sources for such lists seem to focus on the larger organizations,
so by default, you would probably wind up with a list of those groups
with fairly large memberships.  However -- as I noted above -- the
actual membership numbers are not readily available.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

If there were ready made lists on the Internet I wouldn't have posted
a question! :)

I did wonder perhaps if there were other ways of obtaining the data,
either through uk government departments or existing marketing dbs
perhaps.  Maybe another way of refining the selection would be to
automatedly check the hit count in google for each of the url and
prioritise the by hand stuff like that.

I am interested in a reasonably defintive list, it doesn't have to be
absolutely perfect but it definitely needs to include the membership
numbers (say to nearest 1000).  Something I am not sure about is the
quantities of organisations involved - my gut feeling is that there
are probably less than 100 organisations in this category.  I don't
even really want that many, I'd settle for the largest 100 rather than
all above 20k members if that makes the job easier.
