How can by wife and I find a guesthouse to rent within walking distance of UCLA's law school (405 Hilgard Ave, Los Angeles, CA)? We'd prefer something north of Wilshire Blvd., west of N./S. Beverly Glen, and east of the 405. We are willing to pay full rent, or, if requested by landlord, other types of services in place of partial/full rent (e.g. gardening, care for elderly family member, tutoring, house sitting, etc.). I have steady income and an MBA, she has an MA and is planning to attend law school in fall 2006... so we need to be moved by then. What are our options? | |

Have you checked out this web site? http://www.cho.ucla.edu/ you can also do a search for a relocation firm, frequently they have listings or know agents that have rental listings |

My wife sometimes works for extended periods in other cities-- two or three months at a time-- and I've used Craigslist.com to find places. Honolulu, Palm Beach, San Diego and Seattle were all places I got delightful apartments reasonably priced on month-to-month agreements. |
