I would like to find out how much my e-commerce business is worth through a reputable company - somebody whose valuation opinion will mean something in the business world. Can you give me three names and website addresses of companies who are reputable, and cite the sources you found to prove their reliability? The companies you find must be willing and able to value a business with annual sales under $10 million. |

I just went through the same process with my company. After searching long and hard, I hired The Potomac Company in Philadelphia. The guys who did the valuation for us were former investment bankers from frank quattrone's technology group in Silicon Valley and now run Potomac's Tech valuation group - I went with them because we were getting ready to sell the company and we wanted to hire a firm that had some clout in the industry. While the valuation came in lower than i would have liked, it went a long way when we were negotiating with the company that ultimately bought us. The firm's website is: http://www.potomaccompany.com/ |
