If you are in a graduate business program and asking Google Answers something that is in your field....they must not challenge you graduate students enough. Think about it...what is the most exciting thing on the internet now??? Gambling, personal websites, e-trading, anything! This is definately a 2.00 question.... |

"Interesting" could have a negative tone. I might focus on Internet worms, fast spreading virus's and perhaps even Malware (AdWare and SpyWare). |

I agree that "Interesting" is a very vague term. What is interesting to you could be very dull to someone else. You might want to be a bit more focused and specific, e.g. Does the Internet contribute to human relationships or detract from them? How has the Internet benefited business in the last 25 years? How will the development of the Internet affect businesses of the future? Hope this helps. |

What would be interesting is how the internet is sucking us all in; kids now grow up with the internet as a 'babysitter'. A very lousy babysitter that will allow you to view your parents pornography collection, steal illegal things, and shoot and kill people in virtual worlds. It seems to be totally taking over the 'real world', and this has a very real change: Obesity, depression, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), among other things. The internet was developed to share and get information like a library, but it has turned into that virtual bad neighborhood that you try to avoid while going through your city. That's a start, and it paints a pretty dramatic picture of how this 'new world' has evolved compared to the innocent 90's internet we all knew and loved. Good luck. |

Larsen, Here are some topics: - Social networks (Orkut, Friendster, etc.) - why/how are they good for e-business (if at all)? - VOIP (like Skype) - their business model; its impact on the telecom industry; etc. |
