I am running a math and reading learning center in a Minneapolis, MN
suburb. My target audience is families with a certain income that have
children ages 3-17. The community that I serve primarily has been
getting poorer with time; this results in fewer families being able to
afford my services, even though they know their children need
additional help.
One of the options I was considering is to get grants from big
companies, foundations etc. and provide scholarships for these kids.
I've tried to research Target, Jostens and some others, but it seems
like grants are only given out to non-profit organizatins or public
schools.
The question is: are there any companies, foundations, government or
non-profit agencies etc. that provide grants to businesses that I can
use as scholarships for students? |
