Let's see... You've got Continental, which was in Chapter 11 twice in
the `90s. TWA was just purchased by American Airlines, so they don't
count. Midway Airlines is in bankruptcy protection, as is US Airways,
of course. America West was in Chapter 11 in the early 90s. United
Airlines might be next. Other than defunct airlines, who else is on
the list?

Add in Ansett Australia which went bust last year - not sure if it was
officially bankrupt, though.

I sure thought that both Continental and America West declared
bankruptcy twice each.  If anyone could point me to a link or two that
has the *complete* list of active airlines with dates, it would very
much be appreciated.
