I am evaluating the business practices of a large cabinet
manufacturer. They build custom and modular cabinets and cabinet door
fronts. I need to find what the normal and usual business processes
are in such a business. Comparing how my client does business against
such a model will present differences that need further study.

Hi there,

I think the great thing about economics is the concept of comparative
advantage...every business in a given industry is trying to produce
the best product with the highest efficiency. Thus there is rarely a
"normal" method of doing things.

If your task is to take a current business process and explain how it
can be improved then I can help you with that, but I will need far
more detailed information about the company and the processes being
considered. Also, you would need to set the price at a level that you
think that amount of work is actually worth.

Thanks,
