I missed the season premier of Lost. Is there anyway I can download it, or is it scheduled to repeat at all? |

You are in luck. According to ABC's website, the season premiere of "Lost" (titled "Man of Science, Man of Faith) will be rerun on Wednesday, September 28th at 8:00pm Eastern/Pacific, 7:00pm Central. It's a dandy. From the ABC site for "Lost": "Next Episode: Wednesday, Sept. 28, 8/7c Man of Science, Man of Faith ENCORE PRESENTATION Missed the season premiere? Here's your chance to catch it again! In the season premiere episode, one of the castaways is chosen to descend into the mysterious hatch, and Shannon stumbles upon a shockingly familiar face in the jungle." ABC: "Lost" http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/ I hope this is precisely what you need to know. If anything is unclear or incomplete, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer. Best regards, pinkfreud |

Well, I set my VCR to tape when I left the house at 6:00 and it taped up until 9:30 so I'd get last week and this week. I was all excited to watch when I got home, and what I got was 3.5 hours of the message "This station is temporarily unavailable" from my cable company. I can't explain how ticked off that makes me. So, any chance on a follow up on how I could now get a hold of the season premier, and possibly this weeks episode as well. I really enjoyed last season, and am now off to a terrible start! I'm willing to shell out some more if you can tell me how to get a download of this! |

Oh, no! I have had this happen in the past, and it just makes a person want to punt the cable box to the curb. Dratted technology. Back in the old days when we got everything with a rabbit-ear antenna, stuff was more reliable. Of course, there wasn't nearly as much stuff to choose from! Unfortunately, I don't know of any legal download sites for "Lost." Your best bet may be to find someone who taped the show, and borrow the tape. I will check around to see if there are any tape-swappers you can contact online, but I won't be able to get around to this until tomorrow, since bedtime has arrived in my house, and if I'm not in bed soon, my husband may start without me. ;-) I'll let you know if I find any way for you to see the show. It's off to a great beginning! ~Pink |

thanks for your help. I'm just scratching my head that we live in the digital age, and there is no legal way to download or watch this show once it has been missed. That seems crazy to me, I'm willing to pay and just want to see it! Anyway, thanks for the help, and if nothing else the sympathy. I about blew a gasket when I got home tonight and saw that message. Oh well, life goes on. Funny thing is I'm so hooked on the show and normally I can take it or leave it. Guess they are doing a good job of sucking me in. Thanks again. Mark |

I haven't been able to find a way for you to see the show, but if you'd like to catch up by reading a plot summary, I have a suggestion. The excellent website "Television Without Pity" offers detailed recaps of episodes of "Lost" and several other shows. The recaps are rather light-hearted and sometimes sarcastic, but they are accurate, and I highly recommend the site. Obviously, you'll find a multitude of spoilers here, so don't read this unless you're ready to learn some secrets: Television Without Pity: Lost - Man of Science, Man of Faith http://televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=136&story=8266&limit=&sort= The full recap of the second episode hasn't been posted on the site yet, but here's a "recaplet" thumbnail summary: Television Without Pity: Lost - Adrift http://televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=136&story=8284&limit=&sort= I hope this helps! ~Pink |

The full-length text summary of the second episode of "Lost" has now been posted at Television Without Pity. As is usual with TWoP recaps, this contains plot spoilers, so don't read it unless you're ready to learn some "secrets": http://televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=136&story=8315&limit=&sort= |
