In 1968, an immunization survey was carried out in Atlanta, Georgia.
Out of the sample of 537 people under the age of 15, on average, a
total of 460 had had the usual sequence of DPT vaccinations. Suppose
that public health officials had decided that any inner city community
having fewer than 95% of their under 15 population vaccinated with the
DPT series should be the target of an intensive immunization program.
The standard deviation is 6.95. Is there any significance with the
population in question?
