None of the names produces any results in web searches,
with the exception of STIMPAL, which seems to be a last
name and also a nickname found on some message boards.

None of them have domain names associated with them
except, again, STIMPAL:

http://www.stimpal.com/ is a recently registered domain
name hosted by 1&1 Internet, and is owned by United Pacific
Company in Alhambra, CA, as seen on this page on SamSpade.org:
http://www.samspade.org/t/lookat?a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.stimpal.com%2F

Since the Admin's email address includes the domain GoAcupuncture,
I went to http://www.goacupuncture.com and found that it has to
do with acupuncture and related products. They may be planning
to use the StimPal domain in relationship to a product such as:

"AcuPen - Point Location & Stim with Micro Current"
http://www.goacupuncture.com/cgi-bin/ns/ProductDetail.pl?SkuNo=A-30

However, searches of the site reveal that, at this point,
there is no mention of StimPal or Stim Pal, as such.

That's about all I can find to pass on to you. In your
situation, I would assume that no news is good news,
and you should have no problem using either STIMMPAL
or STIMNPAL as a brand name and/or domain name.

If you really need to use STIMPAL, you could be a bit
creative in coming up with a domain name that will work
for you, such as www.stimpal.biz - which is available.
Then play wait-and-see with the www.stimpal.com site
above (or contact them), and see what kind of product
they are selling. If it's an accupuncture stimulation
pen such as I pointed you to, you can decide from there
whether that poses a problem for the medical product
you are planning to market with that name.
