I am trying to find as many items associated with the czech republic
(or prague) as possible. national Flower? National Tree? National
Song. National Cheese?
Additionally anything very closely associated with Prague would also

I was hoping there would be more items rather than just flag and seal
etc but I guess your search confirms that they don't have such things.

Hi czechcurious,

Thank you very much for the rating.

As you will note from the following site, the Czech Republic has no national bird:
http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/CountryIndex.htm

I found two references for the national flower being the rose.
However, I am not certain how authoratative these links are:

http://www.angelfire.com/journal2/flowers/pcd17.html

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,
Rainbow

One correction ( possible typo (lipa->lime)

national tree is not lime -- climate is too cold for that

 národní strom: lípa malolistá.
http://www.iearn.cz/pro/031.htm
http://www.ptejteseknihovny.cz/list.php?all=1&conspect=10&lib=

Lípa in English is linden (german name of this tree)

Flower is peonies czech pivo?ky noun, plural, botany
..zdobily snad ka?dou ?eskou zahrádku, jejich p?vodní ? pivem ?
Vysv?tlení ?eského jména pivo?ky nezap?e ? nos toho, kdo hojn? pil
pivo (von?l k pivu). A pak ?e pivo?ky nejsou ?eskou národní kv?tinou!
?ekové znali pivo?ku jako dekorativní i lé?ivou..
http://www.i-receptar.cz/index.php?fce=article&article=1902

Name is probably corruption of Peonies (from latin) even though folk etymology
above relates that to 'pivo' (national drink) which would be quite appropriate
considering that each county has it's own beer as apparent from
