203,000 people in the U.S. are employed as Marketing Managers.


Advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations, and sales
managers held about 700,000 jobs in 2002. The following tabulation
shows the distribution of jobs by occupational specialty:

Sales managers ........................... 343,000

Marketing managers ....................... 203,000

Advertising and promotions managers ....... 85,000

Public relations managers ................. 69,000
