Trying to read newsgroups with Outlook Express 6,using windows XP
,with a cable conection,I keep getting an error message.As follows a
typical error for the news.candl.com site would as follows,please

The error means that your news server can not be found 
this either means that the address of the server you are using is not
correct or there is an error in the dns translation.

After trying to ping the news server you gave it turns out it does not
exist so that would be the solution to your issue

It could also be that your credentials are not correct (name, password)

you could try changing the address for its IP address
