I have an old school reunion, group photo. On the back it's dated Nov. 1954, Rheinlander on 54th. Was the Rheinland (er) a hotel or restaurant? And what street? Wanted spelling complete and correct, as I'm using this photo in a book I'm doing.. Would love to find photos of this place, also. Much thanks... | |

I have been thinking all along that "Rheinland" should be on 86th street, once the main German restaurant area in NYC. |
