Question ID: 573452
I have an old school reunion, group photo. On the back it's dated Nov. 1954,
Rheinlander on 54th. Was the Rheinland (er) a hotel or restaurant? And
what street? Wanted spelling complete and correct, as I'm using this photo
in a book I'm doing..
Would love to find photos of this place, also.
Much thanks...

In regards to The Rheinland Cabaret_Restaurant, I think it's the one
in the E. 80's in
Manhattan..
I thought it was 54th St, or more mid_town

I have been thinking all along that "Rheinland" should be on 86th
street, once the main German restaurant area in NYC.
