Hey Guys,

I would really appreciate if someone can help / guide me through the following -

1. I am in the US on an H1-B (typical!) and am thinking of applying
for Canada PR. I understand that I need to apply through Buffalo and
typical processing time is 18-24 months (correct me if I am wrong).
Does hiring a lawyer expedite this time in any way!? How much a
typical lawyer charge to do the application?

2. I also have an option of moving to Canada within my own company. If
I apply for PR from within Canada, would the PR Processing time come
down? Is it possible to come on Work Permit and then apply for PR from
within Canada?

Thanks in advance!

Ash
