As for RV vs Home for police, if you are on public streets then its
RV/Car and subject to those laws in regard to search and seizure,
stopping for motor vehicle infractions and so on, maybe if you are
parked, but this is not legal advice you should check with a lawyer,
also I beleive as to your guns, the states are allowed to set their
own laws as to who may possess and carry, so in certain states you may
be inviolation of state handgun laws and subject to such criminal
action,
Basically what ever state you are in you are subject to there laws,
esp. in regard to guns, the northeast states take a very strict view
on who may carry or possess and even if you have obtained them legally
in say NC you may not be allowed to possess in CT even if you are
traveling threw and do not plan on stopping say stop for motor
vehicle, they ask if you have guns, you say yes, then you may be in
trouble On the public roads your are subject to motor vehicle standard
for search and seizure |
