Question ID: 573765
I need detailed instructions on how to replace the passenger side
brake light cover on a 2002 Ford Taurus. The dealer wanted over $250
for the part and labor, and was hoping that even a
nonmechanically-inclinded individual such as myself could do the job
for less than that.

I thought I should clafify: I don't need to replace the bulb, only
the outside lens/reflector piece.

Its easy,

Pop open the trunk. Behind the tail light , from inside the trunk,
there are a couple of bolts.

Unscrew them and the whole assembly will come off, along with the light cover.

Screw on the new cover.

Otherwise, buy a book from a auto part store for about 10 bucks.....
