Is it going to sell, or will it only end up being privately distributed?

Is it a biography of a person who is well-known to the public?

You may want to contact the Writers Guild of America (I think they may
have a website) to ask them your question about royalties. Do you
have an entertainment lawyer helping you draft the contract?

Yes, the person is historically well known. The Author's Guild won't
give me membership because I'm a small publisher, but I won't be
publishing this book. The contract's written. I just need guidance on
this small piece of compensation information. That is, what are the
typical royalty perameters for a writer who writes a biography?

I looked in Writer's Market. They have a spreadsheet of compensation,
but not what I'm looking for.
