Delta Flight 67 from ZRH to ATL on 28 September 2005 took an unusual
flight path - far south over Spain, the Azores and Bermuda. What
conditions of weather, air traffic or whatever made this flight path
necessary?

I expect that the flight was avoiding high speed head winds.
