Hyundai Motor Finance Company provides auto financing to new car owners who purchase automobiles manufactured by Hyundai Motors. A friend of mine told me that Hyundai Motor Finance Company despite the late fee clause in the retail installment contract, did not, between 1998 and 2003, require its' customers to pay late fees for failing to make their car payments on the scheduled payment dates. I told him that he had to be joking. Are there any Hyundai owners who can document (e.g., via an account or payent receipt) that they had been late making a car payment to Hyundai and did not have to pay a late fee? On the other hand, are there any Hyundai owners who can document that they have been late and were required to by Hyundai to pay a late fee for failing to make a payment on the scheduled payment date? |

Not really the full answer you were looking for, but I was late a few time in 2001 to Huyndai and was not charged a late fee. I have no documentation but I know it to be true. |
