I live in a Manhattan apartment and want to purchase an elliptical
trainer.  I don't need lots of bells and whistles.  My main criteria
are quality construction and a relatively small footprint in terms of
floor space taken up by the machine.  I there is another type of cross
trainer that is smaller than an elliptical, I would be interested in
learning about that too.  Hoping to spend $1500 or less, but for the
right machine would consider more.  Any specific suggestions.  This
excercise machine would get moderate use from two adults.
