Question ID: 575178
What is a sed or awk or other unix command that I can use to extract
ONLY email addresses (or ones that looks
like addresses) from a MBOX file on unix? We have a large file of
emails that we simply need the *@* entries from so we can rebuild a
mailing list. If there are a few exceptions its okay, we will clean
them by hand. We just have a 100mb mbox file that has email address
strewn the whole thing. I cannot figure out how to get grep / sed /
awk to only print the substring and not the entire line that holds the
match.
