How do I move a large number of files (400+GB) in Windows XP using keyboard shortcuts (not command prompt) in such a way that during the move I don't keep on getting prompted at random time intervals whether I really want to move system files, or if I really wish to move read only files, or that there is already a read-only file of the same name... .... I do know about the "Yes to All", but since I have so many files it asks me some of the questions for example after 30 minutes of moving files, and I don't want to have to keep on watching the computer to see when it stops working and waits with another question. Thanks |

Dont move...copy them. Then delete the original. Copying is not a "read" function and therefore, you shouoldnt get the prompt. |
