I'm look for companies that sell a product that is comparable to
Meridian World Data's Global Cities Database Professional Edition.

The database contains 2,727,162 cities with names, local native names,
lat/lon coordinates, type classifications, state-level information
(1st level administrative division), region information and extended
country data.

They seem to have the capability of crafting exactly what you need,
but it's not an easy matter to figure out their pricing scheme (which
is expensive for small extracts, but per-record costs get
progressively cheaper as you request larger chunks of data).

quite comfortable that they can provide the data you are looking for.
