I am trying to set up a VPN connection between my Pocket PC Phone that
is connected to the internet using EV-DO and my laptop that is
connected to the internet directly to my cable modem. I can connect to
the VPN just fine but I can not access shared files. It is a clean
install of Windows XP Pro and I hard reset the pocket pc. I go into
File Explorer and tap the network share button and type \\nameofmypc
.It says the network path was not found. And then it says "Network
resource cannot be found or you do not have permission to access the
network". I need to know what I am doing wrong or a complete step by
step walkthrough of how to successfuly access files on my laptop in
this configuration.
