what's better at MSG for U2... 3rd level behind the stage: Sec 324, or
4th level in front: Sec: 426?

In front of the stage is better for this tour since they have an LED
screen that occasionally drops behind the band, obstructing the view
from behind.  Also, there are a lot of things going on in front (with
lights, band members walking around the oval, etc.) that you can't
catch from behind.
