I want to find the contact information for the author of the book "Mr.
China", Tim Clissold. He is supposed to be currently in China. An
email, or a recent mailing address would be fine. If you can cite the
source, I would appreciate it.

This might help:

About the Author:
http://www.harpercollins.com/firstlook/title.asp?titleid=134
..."Tim Clissold works in the China office of Goldman Sachs. A
graduate of Cambridge University with accounting and auditing
experience in the U.K., Hong Kong, Australia and China, he lives in
Beijing with his wife and four children..."

Since he lives in Beijing, here is a blurb about that office:

Management & Recovery PE firm.
Thanks anyways though.

Note: A friend of mine found a hotmail account that might possibly work.

"Buyers targeting the world's No. 2 bad-loan market are not seeing the
deals that helped Japan's banks clear $600 billion of debt in seven
years. China does not have the gumption to resolve five decades of
misguided state lending, says Tim Clissold, a former manager at
Goldman Sachs Group in Beijing.
"This is an incredibly sensitive political issue, involving the
write-off of billions of dollars in state-owned assets," says
Clissold, a partner at the Beijing-based private-equity firm Asset
Management & Recovery. "There's no political will to streamline the
process and make it more transparent to push these things through."
