I'd like a summary of how U.S. military strength changed during the
period 1991-2001, broken down by year, by as many different
significant measurements as possible: rise or fall of enrollments of
each branch (and government efforts to increase enrollment, such as
increases in pay or benefits), arms acquisitions, defense spending
increases or cuts (and what was most affected), research program
cancellations, and any other significant ways of measuring military
strength you can think of that I haven't named here. I'd also like to
know what the best military or government documents are to look at for
this sort of information. Detail and good information is more
important than a quick answer. Thanks.
