Why would a person give a false company address when registering it at
Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) ?

I think the little word above says it.
The site of the ASIC is pretty helpful.  I expected that somewhere I
would find that registration of a company called for a document by a
lawyer or an accountant, who would be a bit responsible for the
details, but that does not seem to be so.
