There should be an expiry on the packaging and vile of the vaccine. If there isn't one, return the product to your pharmacist or doctor to check. (Why you have it in your posession and its not the doc giving it to you I have no idea!) Vaccines are clear, I wouldn't see the point of dyeing them, since they are meant to be IV drugs. They don't change colour when they expire unless something starts to grow in them (mould or bacteria). |

Thank you baz2121-ga, my father received a vaccine that was brown in color and became very ill and was hospitalized. He was treated with a very stong IV antibiotic for 2 days for an infection of the arm that the vaccine had been given. We are trying to find documentation on the pneumonia vaccine and shelf life, or anything stating what could have been growning. |
