A note to my colleagues: The 1880 Federal Census lists John J. Kemp as a farmer, resident in Quincy, Norfolk County, MA. His wife is Margeret F. Kemp, 53 years old, dressmaker, born in MA, father born in Spain, mother born in ME. They have two sons: John F. Kemp, 23 years old, machinist; and Henry S. Kemp, 16 years old, living at home. Both born in MA. If you decide to work on this challenging question, it may be useful for your research. Greetings, Scriptor |
