How does a retail business become an American Express shopAmex partner?

Hi!

It seems that inclusion as an online partner is based upon the
prerogative of AMEX. Are you an online store or are you a
brick-and-mortar one. There seems to be no simple answer since AMEX
does not have the info on their site.

Would contact information fo ShopAmex be fine with you so you can just
ask  them? Or you have tried that before?

Please advice us on how to proceed.
