I am in a problem right now.. My Problem is as follows.. please advice me on this.

My H1B Visa Stamping Interview is on Dec 21st at the Chennai
Consulate. I have all my documents ready. In an unfortunate incident i
lost my Degree semester marksheets last week. Fortunately my Degree
Certificate and Consolidated marksheets were not damaged.

I contacted the university for applying for the Duplicate semester
marksheets but they informed me that it will take minimum 6 months to
issue the marksheets.

Will it be a problem if i bring my Consolidated Marksheet instead of
my Semester Marksheets. My Consolidated Marksheet contains My Name, My
register Number, All the exams i appeared, Semester to which those
exams belong to, Month and Year in which i passed the exams, Mark that
i scored in each exams.

Even if there is a way to speed the issuance of new marksheets, I
would suggest that you contact the US Consulate and ask there
directly.

Of course, if you already have contact with an individual in the
consulate who knows your application, try to start by speaking with
him or her.

Hey!

I don't think it is a matter of much concern since you already have
your consolidated mark sheets. The person at the consulate would look
more into your graduate degree than your undergrad, if you were a
graduate student I presumed. And more over you have your Degree
certificate as proof. It should not be an issue at all.
