Using the same website as I did for the first flight in my
clarification, the cost of the same trip for 1 week (Dec 22-29) for
two people is £358.40.

The second site gives the price of £360.40 for the same dates as above.

on holiday, sorry for delay in replying, gave up till I got home.

Just enter the dates and destination and you will be taken to the

Having lived and worked in South Tenerife for 3 years, I can tell you
that Xmas/ New Year is the busiest time of year. Many people have
booked 12months plus in advance, so you will be lucky to get a cheap
flight or accomodation. Try monarch.co.uk for direct flights from
London Luton or BA.com from Gatwick. can't see you getting any cheaper
than the example above though, and acoomodation will be hard to find.

Good Luck though, and have a great time if you do manage it.

Hope this comment doesn't come too late, but I found some much better
deals on Foundem.com (a UK-based travel search engine).

Their flight search can be found at:

A quick search on Foundem turned up a few  cheaper options for the
same dates as above, including £261.80 (for two people) from LHR to
TFS, and £257.80 (for two people) from LHR to TFN.

You could also give their hotel search a try if you are having trouble
finding somewhere to stay.
