I am looking for a database of all retirement communities in the US.
Solucient (formerly HCIA) publishes one but it was only updated in
2001, so it is kind of old.  American Association of Homes and
Services for the Aging (AAHSA) publishes a directory, but it is only
of its members, so it is not at all complete. I need a listing that is
up-to-date, complete, and contains data such as number of residents
and the average price of units. I am actually only interested in
upscale independent living facilities, but I don't mind if the
database contains everything (nursing homes, assisted living, etc.)
