There are 2 TV shows from the 80's I just cant remember the name of.
I've searched TV.com but still having trouble.

1) a tv show about a chinese kid with white adopted parents. he knows
kung-fu and fights criminals sometimes. His dad is a cop.

2)even more obscure. an mystery/adventure show that has a midget
inventor. in one episode they were in a cave booby trapped with walls
that moved in.. the midget inventor had a "puppet" or manequin of some
sort that he use to brace the walls from crushing them... I remember
something about this puppet, it was very strong.

I believe your first show is "Sidekicks":

http://imdb.com/title/tt0090519/plotsummary

Your second show sounds like "The Wizard":

Please let me know if I'm on the right track.

I'm glad to have been able to help you identify your shows as
"Sidekicks" and "The Wizard."

If you enjoyed "The Wizard," you might be interested in a website
dedicated to its star, the late David Rappaport:

Would you know I was on Sidekicks, had copied and pasted, refreshed my
screen, and saw PinkFreud's clarification? :)

I came to that same conclusion, that the first one was SideKicks,
having remembered it similarly. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090519/

wow awesome!! Ive been wondering about these shows for YEARS!!!!

in Canada, about 10 years ago, they had sidekicks on the french
channel for a bit. it was called "cavalier" or something like that...
I reemmbered the show very vaguely and watched it in french! ahha

the wizard... I dont remember the name still... but I'll never forget
that little inventor. I cant believe anyone else remembers these!

I wonder if there's anyways to get these on DVD or tape... tried
emule, but nothing...

The movie Sidekicks was also known as "The Last Electric Knight."

I found it for sale on eBay, but only in the UK :

Also, this may be a long shot, but this guy claims to have a copy of
the Last Electric Knight, and was willing to give out :

Although I can't claim that he actually has it (still), since it is 2
years old. But its worth an email to him to find out.

cheers!

I am going crazy trying to remember a short lived series where four
lawmen from the wild west travel through time to present day to fight
crime and find their way back to their own time. Does ANYONE remember
this show?
