I am using the MSDN beta of Windows Vista. While I have all the rest of the drivers working correctly, I keep being prompted to install the 'Generic PnP Monitor'. When I go through the driver wizard, I can choose either a 'Dell 1801FP (Analog)' driver (my monitor) or 'Generic PnP Monitor', but the last page of the wizard always returns the following error: The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request I have googled this to no avail, and am not a member of any Vista beta newsgroups to ask the question - any advice on how to sucessfully install the most basic driver on the system would be appreciated! |
