What is the average gig gee asked by internationally successfull rock
artists? I need to know the fee for a range of artists from the very
ultra highly successfull (U2, Green Day, REM, Rolling Stones, Iron
Maiden, Metallica, ACDC) to those also highly successfull (Jack
Johnson, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, The Vines, The Hives, My Chemical
Romance). Also more underground type bands like NOFX, Goldfinger, Mad
Caddies, Anti-Flag etc.

I do NOT want to know what they charge for corporate / private gigs
(as this is often 3 times the normal fee), but what they charge
promoters when they are on tour anyway. Often they share in the nett
profit of the gig, but if they were not to what would their fee be?

I know performance fee is all dependent on Venues, capacity and who
pays all expenses. Let us for this question presume the gigs will be
played at venues in a foreign country with a 5000 - 10 000 capacity
and ALL expenses payed
by the promoter (flights, accommodation, travel etc)

Alright. Forget about averages. See if you could please get me the
performance fee's paid to the above mentioned artists on their latest
international tours. Any form of indication of what their (they often
get a base fee and still a share of nett profit - for this question I
am just interested in base fee) standard base fee is would be
helpfull.

Trompie,
Just a comment or two: You could have changed the price on your
original question instead of posting a new one.
Asking for an average is rather liking asking for "all" of something
here, which Researchers are reluctant to try to answer. If a
Researcher can't find what the Rolling Stones earn, the average you
seek is not one - at least mathematically. And you cannot really
expect them to "build" an average on the basis of individual data on
"all" the big names. Maybe there is some information that can be
found that mentions averages - I rather doubt it - but if that would
be acceptable, you could add a clarification.
You already seem to know a good deal about the subject. It appears
that your final question replaces the one in the preceeding paragraph.
 ??

Well, that was three comments, but not intended to discourage you. If
you refine your question, perhaps you will get an answer, or at least
some comments that add insight on the subject.
I hope so, Myoarin
