It's not true that Christopher Walken is running for President in 2008.
I am posting three confirming references for you, although there are a
lot more by entering the search string at the bottom of my answer.

Christopher Walken for president!
..."What a disappointment. For a brief but inspiring moment, we
thought Blogma's favorite actor might really be throwing his hat in
the ring, following in the footsteps of so many other Hollywood
Unfortunately, it seems that Christopher Walken's supposedly official
campaign site, walken2008.com, is a marketing outgrowth of his role as
a senator with presidential ambitions in "Wedding Crashers."
"According to one source, the entire campaign, including registration
of multiple Web domain names, is an elaborate hoax being perpetrated
by members of the General Mayhem forums, one of the largest message

that he rehearses his roles by reading only his own lines, in
backwards order, without ever reading the other people's lines, I
can't help having respect for him. I bet he would come up with an
equally crazy, but workable way of being a president..."

..."This week's contender for "Site Most Likely to Yield a 404 Error"
is www.walken2008.com, which announces, in the words of film news site
Empire Online, that "the twinkle-toed terror that is Christopher
Walken is all set to run for President in the year 2008." It is
obviously a hoax. Despite a pop-up "press release" claiming that the
actor himself announced his candidacy in a "private conference" held
at the Waldorf Astoria on August 9, no mention of the event has turned
up in the national press. Web chatter (when has it ever been wrong?)
attributes the hoax to members of the aptly named General Mayhem
Hope this helps...
