You can get a good shot of the MGM entrance from the photo collection of the Los Angeles Public Library: http://jpg2.lapl.org/pics07/00013246.jpg The online version is only moderate resolution, but I believe that the actual version that you license from the library is a high-resolution photo. The ordering, licensing and use information is summarized here: http://www.lapl.org/catalog/photo_orderinfo.html This photo should fully meet your needs. However, please do not rate this answer if you find you would like any additional information. Just post a Request for Clarification to let me know how I can help you, and I am at your service. Cheers, pafalafa-ga search strategy -- searched Google Images and several bookmarked photo-collection sites, including LAPL, for [ goldwyn OR mgm ] |

This one's small and grainy, but from the right time: http://www.thefilmvault.com/movie_industry/MGM.html |
