We have a problem with household theft and think we know the person responsible. Where can I get fingerprints compared or verified? |

May I understand that you have fingerprints on the safe, or whereever related to the theft, and think you have or can secure fingerprints on something which can unequivatably be identitfied as those of a certain person? A layman could probably recognize the correlation of the fingerprints, but for a legal decision, maybe the police must be involved, whereby it just a statement that that is the glass with suspect's fingerprints needs substanciation. |

unequivocally, substantiation, identified, wherever.
Just forget the last half sentence ("whereas ...")
