I recorded some CDs on my office Pc using copy and paste to a blank
CD. I could read them easily on my office pc but when I tried to open
them in my home computer, Thier directories were empty and I could not
access any of them.

I read on thier system files one was RAW and the other was unknown.

Please help to open these CDs. The system is win xp.

Thanks for your early reply.

This is a common problem with CD-RWs.The only way is to bring your CD
drive from the office and use it at home.

Dear aaaghgh :

Do you have a CD burner at your home PC as well as at your work PC?

Because if you burned it on your home PC, and burned it in such a way
where the CD was "still open," and did NOT have a burner at home, then
your home PC could not read it properly.

BUT :
IF you do have a burner at your home PC, then maybe it is something else.

Is is worth asking before I look any further.

Yes I do have a burner at home and another one in the office. I tried
to see it in the home one but the directory was empty.

The issue is that I am not sure if the burner at the office where I
burned these CDs is the same one I used at that time. I will give it a
try in the office but waht will be the solution if it did not work?

Burner at home is Sony DVD/CD writer and at office is HP 6 series.
