You also can use the number pad on your keyboard (make sure NumLock is
ON): simply hold alt key and then type "0153" and release alt. This
works for all characters, you can also open Character Map to see what
codes each character is, and you can copy/paste characters like ? from
there.

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map in Windows XP

Good luck!

I'd highly recommend PopChar for its fingertippability if you need
special characters, symbols, or work with languages much. It's one of
the better $30 download purchases I've made. You might try it first
with the caveat being some characters are greyed out in the trial
version.

In Word, just go to Insert > Symbol in the menu bar and the TM symbol
should be there among the symbols labeled "normal text." Select it
and click Insert.

rickmill
the easiest way to get a TM symbol
on a Mac is to hold down the "option"
key (also known as "alt") and
type "2"

it will look like this:?
