I am presently running system 10.2.8 and would like to upgrade to 10.3.9. Is this possible to do with a download on the internet, or must I purchase it? |

10.2 to 10.3 must be purchased. The current version is actually 10.4.2 |

Just to clarify, it doesn't 'have to' be purchased, speaking in terms of both legal/illegal ways. But I can't post info on how to obtain the OS download on the internet, as it would be definitely against the rules. |

No... you HAVE to purchase it. See if your hardware is compatible (most likely it is) and purchase and upgrade to Tiger 10.4 then update your OS to get to the latest. Also see if you qualify for any educational discounts. |
